Mercenaries
Mercenaries is a mercenary management simulation. At the onset of the Italian renaissance, take on the role of a Condottieri (the mercenary captain), leading a compagnie di ventura (the mercenary company). Hire, equip, train, and fight mercenaries from all over the world! Pick up defensive contracts, battle other companies, and raid cities to pay for maintaining and expanding your company, as well as amassing your own fortune.
This project was originally created for a final, ad features: Hire armies with a few standard troop types (archer, swordsman, pikeman, cavalry), and each soldier had a unique character sheet with statistics and skills that factored into how well they fought. you could attack cities, razing them for some cash which in turn let you hire new soldiers. Cities had alliances with each other and could be neutral, enemies, friendly, or allies, and you could only hire troops from friendly or allied cities which meant you had to be careful of who you were raiding.
